On Saturday, April 1, 2017, we held our annual Movers for Moms drive. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s very own Alysha Tompkins, as well as a volunteer from WEAVE, and 4 volunteers from 103.9 The Fish came out to help collect donations, and gave out freebies in return! 103.9 The Fish kindly handed out free Family Fish Fest tickets to any contributorGrocery Outlet Live Remote.

In just the couple of hours that the team was out in front of Grocery Outlet, hundreds of donations came in. The generosity was truly outstanding.

Back at the Sacramento warehouse, we counted up all of the donations that we had collected. From both the offices who had been collecting, as well as the donations from the live remote. Total, we counted roughly 3,350 items. It is amazing that in such a short span of time, we were able to collect so much. Our movers boxed up the items, and delivered our first load to M4M Donations after Live RemoteWEAVE. The women of WEAVE are going to have an amazing Mother’s Day, and it’s all thanks people like you who donate.
So if you haven’t had the chance to donate, why not dig through your closet and pull out those couple of items you don’t wear anymore – maybe even one of those many unopened lotion bottles that you have. When these women leave their homes and go into a WEAVE shelter, it is usually in a hurry, and they aren’t able to take a lot with them. Any new or gently used item you can donate is appreciated.

We will be out again this Saturday, April 8, at the Walmart at 900 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Roseville.
